TDA4665 – How It Works

It replaces the older glass ultrasonic delay lines used in early color TVs with an all-electronic switched-capacitor equivalent — an adjustment-free part that avoids crosstalk between SECAM colour carriers while providing the same 64µs delay PAL needs to compare U/V chrominance between successive lines.
