UC2845 Current-Mode PWM Controller (Extended Temperature)

The UC2845 is a current-mode PWM controller IC, the extended-temperature version of the UC3845 also in this catalog, part of the widely-used UC384x/284x family.

UC2845 – How It Works

Sharing the identical function as the UC3845, it uses current-mode control for reliable, self-limiting switching regulation with reduced startup/operating current, but rated for a wider industrial/military temperature range than the standard commercial-grade UC3845.

Being functionally identical to the UC3845 also in this catalog, it can be treated as a drop-in equivalent in any design not specifically requiring the extended temperature rating.
