How It Works

The UT390B+ uses a Class 2 laser (620-680nm, under 1mW) to measure distance instantly, and can calculate area, volume, and use the Pythagorean theorem to derive indirect measurements (like a wall height from two angled shots). It stores up to 30 readings, supports add/subtract operations on length/area/volume/MAX/MIN, and includes automatic calibration and a built-in leveling bubble. At just 84g and 112x50x25mm, it fits easily in a pocket, with a rated battery life of 8000 measurements.
