The UNI-T UT202+ clamp meter is a True RMS digital clamp meter with a 28mm jaw, measuring up to 600A AC current and 600V, with non-contact voltage detection.

How It Works

The UT202+ clamp meter opens its 28mm jaw around a single current-carrying conductor to measure AC current without breaking the circuit, reading up to 400A at ±(2%+10) or 600A at reduced precision, alongside AC/DC voltage up to 600V. Its True RMS engine gives accurate readings even on the distorted, non-sinusoidal waveforms common in modern electronics with switching power supplies, where an averaging-only meter would read incorrectly. Beyond current and voltage, it also measures temperature from -40°C to 1000°C, resistance, and capacitance, with min/max/relative modes and a 4000-count auto-ranging display, and it’s rated CAT III 300V / CAT II 600V for safe use around building-level electrical panels.
