Setup and Probe Notes

Compensate the probes before any serious measurement session, because an uncompensated probe distorts square-wave edges enough to make a healthy signal look like a fault. Most scopes include a built-in calibration output for exactly this purpose, and the adjustment takes less than a minute with a small trimmer tool.

Match the probe attenuation setting on the scope to the physical switch on the probe itself, since a mismatch silently multiplies or divides every voltage reading by ten. Keep ground leads as short as practical when looking at fast edges, because a long ground loop adds ringing and overshoot that belong to the measurement setup rather than the circuit under test.

ملاحظات الإعداد والمساييب

اعمل معايرة للمساييب قبل أي جلسة قياس جدية، لأن مسبار غير معاير بيشوه حواف الموجة المربعة لدرجة تخلي إشارة سليمة تبان كأنها عطل. أغلب الأجهزة فيها خرج معايرة مدمج للغرض ده بالظبط، والضبط بياخد أقل من دقيقة بمفك صغير.

طابق إعداد تخفيف المسبار في الجهاز مع المفتاح الفيزيائي على المسبار نفسه، لأن عدم التطابق بيضرب أو يقسم كل قراءة فولت على عشرة من غير ما تحس. خلي أسلاك الأرضي قصيرة قد الإمكان وانت بتشوف حواف سريعة، لأن حلقة أرضي طويلة بتضيف رنين وتجاوز تابعين لإعداد القياس مش للدائرة اللي بتختبرها.
