The UT692G optical power meter extends UNI-T’s UT692 fiber test family to a -50 to +26dBm range, covering higher optical power levels the standard UT692D can’t measure.

UT692G optical power meter – How It Works

Its wider +26dBm ceiling makes it suited for measuring higher-power optical sources and amplified links (like CATV or high-power PON systems) where the standard UT692D’s +10dBm ceiling would simply max out. It shares the same InGaAs detector, 8 calibrated wavelengths (850-1650nm), and 800-1700nm wavelength range as the D model – only the measurable power range differs.

Same IP65 rating, 2-meter drop resistance, and FC/SC/ST connector compatibility as the D model, so choosing between them comes down purely to which power range your fiber links actually operate at.
