How It Works

Measuring Accurately

Laser distance meters need a surface that reflects the beam back, so measuring to a dark, glossy, or transparent target often fails or returns an inaccurate value. Placing a light-coloured card at the target point solves most of these cases and costs nothing.

Choose the correct reference point setting, front edge or rear edge of the housing, before recording measurements, because the wrong reference introduces a fixed offset equal to the body length into every reading. القياس بدقة
