BC558 transistor

The BC558 transistor is a PNP general-purpose small-signal transistor in a TO-92 package, the complementary PNP counterpart to the widely used NPN BC548.

How It Works

The BC558 transistor is a PNP transistor: current flows from emitter to collector when its base is pulled negative relative to the emitter, the mirror behavior of an NPN device.
