The LM35DZ (genuine original) is a precision analog temperature sensor IC in a TO-92 transistor-style package, one of the most widely-used temperature sensors in electronics.

LM35DZ – How It Works

Unlike sensors requiring a lookup table, its output voltage is directly and linearly proportional to temperature in Celsius (10mV per °C), with no external calibration needed — a designer or microcontroller simply reads its analog output and multiplies by a fixed scale factor to get temperature.

Being labeled “Original” indicates it’s a genuine part rather than a clone, valuable since counterfeit LM35 sensors with inaccurate scaling are unfortunately common in the market.
