This is a panel-mount AC power connector with an integrated fuse holder, combining a mains inlet socket and a fuse compartment in one panel-fixed module.

Rather than needing a separate inline fuse holder wired somewhere in the enclosure, this connector combines the mains power inlet and the fuse in a single compact panel-mount module, so mains power always passes through the fuse before reaching the internal circuit, and the fuse can be accessed and replaced from outside the enclosure without opening it.

When replacing the fuse inside this holder, always match the exact current rating specified by the equipment manufacturer — never substitute a higher-rated fuse to “stop it blowing,” as this defeats the protection entirely.
