75450 Dual Peripheral AND Driver

The 75450 is a dual peripheral AND driver IC, combining logic gate inputs directly with high-current NPN output transistors for driving relays, lamps, and other peripheral loads.

75450 – How It Works

Each of its two channels internally connects an AND-logic gate’s output directly to the base of an NPN output transistor, letting a TTL logic condition directly drive a higher-current peripheral load, with diode-clamped inputs simplifying circuit design and helping ensure freedom from latch-up.

It fills a similar peripheral-driving role to the Darlington array chips like the TD62083AP also in this catalog, but with a built-in AND logic function rather than a plain buffer, letting a logic condition control the driver directly.
