UT516B insulation tester – How It Works

Its 6 ranges (500V, 1000V, 2500V, 5000V, 10000V, and 12000V) cover everything from standard cable testing up to the highest-voltage industrial equipment, with fine voltage adjustment in 10% steps at every range except the top 12000V tier for precise control over test stress. Results save to internal memory and transfer to a PC over USB, either afterward or in real time during the test.

Safe Testing Practice
