The UT658B USB tester shares the exact same measurement capabilities as the UT658 – voltage, current, capacity, and D+/D- data-line readings – and adds a 10cm USB cable in the box.

UT658B USB tester – How It Works

It works identically to the standard UT658: plug it inline between a charger and device to read voltage (3-9V), current (0-3.5A), accumulated charge capacity, circuit equivalent resistance, and D+/D- voltages for fast-charging protocol checks. The only genuine difference is the included 10cm USB cable, saving you from needing a separate cable to connect it in certain setups.

If you already have a compatible USB cable on hand, the base UT658 does the same job for less – the B variant is purely a convenience bundle, not a functional upgrade.
