ULN2069 Quad Darlington Switch/Driver

The ULN2069 is a quad high-current Darlington switch/driver IC, four independent channels designed to switch inductive and resistive loads from logic-level control signals.

ULN2069 – How It Works

Like the TD62083AP and DS2003TN also in this catalog but with only 4 channels instead of 7-8, each Darlington channel multiplies current gain to let a small logic-level input current control a much larger output current, with built-in clamp diodes for safely switching inductive loads like relay coils.

When a design only needs 4 driver channels rather than the 7-8 provided by the DS2003TN or TD62083AP also in this catalog, this smaller part offers a more compact solution.
