The STRW5453A (Sanken) is an integrated power switching regulator IC, part of Sanken’s widely-used STR-series of off-line switch-mode power supply chips.

STRW5453A – How It Works

Like other STR-series parts, it combines the switching power transistor with control and protection circuitry on one chip, commonly found as the main switching regulator in TV, monitor, and appliance power supplies.
