The 54155 is a dual 2-to-4 line decoder/demultiplexer IC, the military/industrial-temperature version of the standard 74155 also in this catalog.

54155 – How It Works

It shares the identical function as the 74155 — two independent decoder sections that can each select one of four output lines from a 2-bit address, or function as a demultiplexer — with the “54” prefix simply extending its guaranteed operating temperature range.

Being functionally identical to the standard 74155 also in this catalog, it can be treated as a drop-in equivalent in any design not specifically requiring the extended temperature rating.
