MM2114-3L – How It Works

Like all 2114-family parts, it’s organized as 1024 words of 4 bits each, with two chips commonly paired for a full 8-bit memory bank in classic 8-bit microcomputer designs, but this “L” (low-power) and “-3” (300ns) variant specifically trades some access speed for reduced power consumption compared to faster-speed-grade 2114 parts.
