The UT302A infrared thermometer reads -32C to 450C with a 20:1 distance-to-spot ratio, letting it target smaller areas from further away than UNI-T’s UT301 series.

UT302A infrared thermometer – How It Works

Its 20:1 ratio means at any given distance, it reads a smaller, more precise spot than the 12:1 UT301 series – useful for pinpointing a hot component on a crowded board or panel from across the room. Adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.0, MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF display modes, and an 8-second data hold round out its function set.

Powered by a 9V battery and mountable on a tripod for SCAN-mode continuous measurement, it’s built for the same field diagnostic work as its UT301 siblings, just with a tighter optical spot.

Measurement Accuracy Notes

Surface emissivity affects infrared readings more than most users expect, so a shiny metal surface can read far cooler than it actually is unless a piece of matte tape or paint is applied to the measurement spot first. Non-contact thermometers report surface temperature only, which is not the same as the internal temperature of the object being checked.

Respect the distance-to-spot ratio, because moving further from the target widens the measured area and averages in surrounding surfaces. Let the instrument acclimatize for a few minutes when moving it between very different ambient temperatures, since a cold meter brought into a warm room can read inaccurately until its internal sensor stabilizes.

ملاحظات دقة القياس

انبعاثية السطح بتأثر على قراءات الأشعة تحت الحمراء أكتر مما أغلب المستخدمين متوقعين، فسطح معدني لامع ممكن يقرا أبرد بكتير من حقيقته غير لو حطيت شريط أو دهان مطفي على نقطة القياس الأول. الترمومترات اللا تلامسية بتقرا حرارة السطح بس، واللي مش نفس الحرارة الداخلية للجسم اللي بتفحصه.

احترم نسبة المسافة للبقعة، لأن ابتعادك عن الهدف بيوسع المساحة المقاسة ويحسب متوسط للأسطح المحيطة. سيب الجهاز يتأقلم كام دقيقة لما تنقله بين درجات حرارة محيطة مختلفة جدًا، لأن جهاز بارد داخل أوضة دافية ممكن يقرا غلط لحد ما الحساس الداخلي يستقر.
