The 74LS4075 is a triple 3-input OR gate IC — three independent OR gates in one chip, each producing a HIGH output when at least one of its three inputs is HIGH.

74LS4075 – How It Works

Each gate implements standard OR logic across three inputs simultaneously (rather than the more common 2-input OR gates), useful when a design needs to combine three separate condition signals into a single output that’s active if any one of them is true, without needing to cascade two separate 2-input gates.

Using this 3-input gate directly instead of cascading two 2-input OR gates (like combining two 7432 gates) saves board space and reduces the propagation delay through an extra logic stage.
