The 4DOF Robot Arm SG92R Servo Kit is a compact desktop robotic arm built around four SG92R micro servos, giving four independent points of articulation in a small, lightweight package ideal for learning multi-axis motion control.

4DOF SG92R Arm – How It Works

Each of the four SG92R servos drives one joint of the arm (typically base rotation, shoulder, elbow and gripper), with the SG92R itself being an upgraded, higher-torque version of the popular SG90 micro servo, using POM plastic gears reinforced with carbon fiber particles for better durability under repeated motion. Running on a 5V nominal supply, each servo draws only around 10mA at idle but spikes to 100-300mA while actively moving, so four servos operating together during a coordinated arm motion can draw close to 1A momentarily, which is more than a microcontroller’s onboard 5V regulator can usually supply safely. Because all four servos accept the same standard PWM control signal, the arm can be driven directly from a microcontroller’s PWM-capable pins or through a dedicated servo driver board like a PCA9685 for smoother, more precise multi-servo choreography.

كل واحد من سيرفوهات SG92R الأربعة بيشغل مفصل واحد من الذراع (عادة دوران القاعدة والكتف والكوع والقبضة)، وSG92R نفسه نسخة محسنة بعزم أعلى من سيرفو الميكرو الشائع SG90، بيستخدم تروس بلاستيك POM مقواة بجزيئات ألياف كربون لمتانة أفضل تحت الحركة المتكررة. بيشتغل على تغذية اسمية 5 فولت، كل سيرفو بيسحب حوالي 10 مللي أمبير بس وقت السكون بس بيقفز لـ100-300 مللي أمبير أثناء الحركة النشطة، فأربع سيرفوهات شغالة مع بعض أثناء حركة ذراع منسقة تقدر تسحب قريب من 1 أمبير لحظيًا، وده أكتر مما منظم 5 فولت المدمج بمتحكم دقيق عادة يقدر يوفره بأمان. وبما إن الأربع سيرفوهات بتقبل نفس إشارة تحكم PWM القياسية، الذراع تقدر تتشغل مباشرة من أطراف متحكم دقيق قادرة على PWM أو عبر بورد تشغيل سيرفو مخصص زي PCA9685 لتنسيق سيرفو متعدد أنعم وأدق.
