Press its pins into wood or a building material and it reads moisture content directly, with 7 selectable modes covering different wood species and material types for accurate readings across varied surfaces. Environmental temperature correction across -5C to +50C keeps readings accurate regardless of site conditions, and an audible buzzer with analog bar alarm flags moisture levels that are too high.

A 0.5-second refresh rate, built-in flashlight, and 2-meter drop protection make it a practical field tool for wood drying, furniture production, and construction material assessment.

Reading Moisture Correctly

Moisture meters are calibrated against particular material groups, so a reading taken on a species or material outside the instrument’s calibration range should be treated as relative rather than absolute. Comparing a suspect area against a known-dry reference area of the same material usually tells you more than the raw number alone.

قراءة الرطوبة صح
