The 3006P-1-501 trimmer is a Bourns 3006 series through-hole multiturn trimming potentiometer with a 500 ohm track resistance, used for precision fine-tuning of resistance in a circuit after assembly.

How It Works

A cermet resistive element is adjusted via a side lead-screw mechanism requiring 15 full turns to sweep the entire 500 ohm range, giving much finer control than a single-turn trimmer for precise calibration. It carries a ±10% resistance tolerance, ±100ppm/°C temperature coefficient, and a 750mW power rating within a compact 3/4-inch rectangular body. The IP65-rated sealing protects the element during wave soldering and cleaning, and it is rated for a rotational life of 200 cycles across -55C to +125C.
