The MH-B Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module uses an infrared transmitter and receiver pair to detect nearby reflective objects without physical contact.
When an object reflects the emitted infrared light back to the receiver, the onboard comparator circuit changes the OUT digital signal, allowing easy connection to a microcontroller. This type of module commonly operates from 3.3V to 5V DC.
