L6202 DMOS Full Bridge Motor Driver (up to 48V)

The L6202 (STMicroelectronics) is a DMOS full-bridge driver IC for DC motor control, integrating isolated DMOS power transistors with CMOS/bipolar control circuitry on one chip, rated for supply voltages up to 48V.

L6202 – How It Works

Its Multipower-BCD technology combines a complete H-bridge (4 power transistors) with the control logic needed to drive a DC motor in either direction, delivering up to 5A peak current with built-in cross-conduction protection — a complete, minimal-external-component motor driver solution for higher-voltage DC motor control.

Compared to the lower-voltage BA6222/BA6238 motor drivers also in this catalog, its much higher 48V rating makes it suited to industrial and higher-power motor control applications beyond small consumer electronics.
