How It Works

Sharing the UT667 platform’s IP67-rated 8mm camera with 70-degree field of view and 20-100mm depth of field, the UT667-5M is lit by 8 adjustable LEDs and displays on a 4.3-inch IPS panel with zoom, screen rotation, and color/black-and-white/invert modes. The aviation-plug probe connector allows quick swaps between probe lengths on the same display unit, and the 5m reach suits longer pipe runs or ductwork that a 1m probe can’t cover.

Using the Camera Effectively

Feed the probe slowly and avoid forcing it around tight bends, because the internal wiring and camera head are the most fragile parts of any borescope and a sharp kink is usually permanent. Clean the lens with a soft cloth after inspecting oily or dusty cavities, since a smeared lens is the most frequent cause of an image that looks out of focus.

Lighting matters as much as resolution on this kind of tool, so adjust the LED brightness down when inspecting reflective surfaces that would otherwise wash out the image. Keep the cable loosely coiled during storage rather than wrapped tightly, as repeated tight coiling stresses the internal conductors and shortens the probe’s working life.

استخدام الكاميرا بكفاءة

دخّل المسبار ببطء وتجنب إجباره حوالين منحنيات ضيقة، لأن الأسلاك الداخلية ورأس الكاميرا أهش أجزاء في أي بورسكوب وأي كسرة حادة غالبًا بتبقى دائمة. نضف العدسة بقماشة ناعمة بعد فحص تجاويف زيتية أو مليانة غبار، لأن عدسة ملطخة أشهر سبب لصورة شكلها مش واضحة.

الإضاءة مهمة قد الدقة في الأداة دي، فقلل سطوع الـLED وانت بتفحص أسطح عاكسة ممكن تغسل الصورة. خزن الكابل ملفوف بشكل مرتخي مش مشدود، لأن اللف الضيق المتكرر بيجهد الموصلات الداخلية ويقصر عمر المسبار.
