UT-Z002 macro lens – How It Works

Snap it onto a compatible thermal camera body and it shifts the focal point much closer than the camera’s standard lens allows, letting you resolve heat differences across tiny individual components rather than a blurred average across a whole board. The camera automatically detects the lens attached and recalibrates its temperature readings accordingly, so measurements stay accurate rather than needing manual correction.

It’s compatible with UNI-T’s UTi260B, UTi720A/B, and UTi716B thermal cameras, making it a practical add-on rather than a standalone tool for anyone already using one of those bodies for electronics or PCB-level fault-finding.
