The Raspberry Pi 5 case cover is cut for the Pi 5’s own port layout, which is not identical to the Pi 4’s despite the similar overall board size — a Pi 4 case will not line up correctly, since connector positions and the new PCIe FPC connector on the underside changed with this generation.
