How It Works

The BTA10-600B triac conducts current bidirectionally once triggered by its gate, then continues conducting until the AC waveform naturally crosses zero. Rated for a solid 10A RMS current and 600V blocking voltage, with a 2500Vrms isolation rating on its insulated TO-220AB package, it can be bolted straight to a heatsink for cooling without a separate insulating pad.
