The TS339CD is a micropower quad CMOS voltage comparator IC — four independent, low-power comparators in one chip, part of the same functional family as the widely-used LM339.

TS339 – How It Works

Each of its four comparators compares two input voltages and switches its output between two states depending on which input is higher, drawing very low quiescent current thanks to its CMOS construction — making it well-suited to battery-powered and other low-power-budget designs where the bipolar LM339 would draw noticeably more current.

Its low-power CMOS construction is the key distinction from the bipolar LM339 also in this catalog — in a battery-powered or power-budget-critical design, this is generally the better choice despite sharing the same basic pinout and function.
