Robot Car Kit 4 Wheel with L293 – What’s Actually Included

The chassis itself is a two-layer acrylic platform with 4 pre-mounted DC gear motors and rubber wheels. As a result, it gives a stable 4-wheel-drive base that’s ready to accept an Arduino or other microcontroller on top to control it. However, driving 4 motors at once needs more current than a microcontroller’s pins can supply directly. That’s exactly what the included L293 motor driver board handles: it takes low-power control signals from a microcontroller and switches the higher current the motors actually need. In addition, power comes from the included 3×18650 battery holder, loaded with rechargeable 18650 cells. A charger and USB cable also come with the kit, so you can top up those batteries without buying them separately.
